Go a little shorter ahead of a long winter.
By Jenna Rosenstein

You know what they say: when the temperature drops, it’s time for a chop. Okay, maybe nobody says that, but the sentiment still holds true. There’s no better way to gear up for a new season than with a hair transformation, either big or small. Ahead, 10 of the trending haircuts to try (warning: the ’90s are back) from our favorite stars.

1 – Kendall Jenner

Kendall Jenner’s bob falls right at her collarbone, which still leaves plenty of length to play with different textures and styles.

2 – Chrissy Teigen

This in-between length is ideal for long-hair-lovers who want to gradually move to a shorter cut. The blunt ends and lack of layers give the style a slightly retro vibe (in a good way).

3 – Bella Hadid

Speaking of retro vibes, Bella Hadid has single-handedly made Scarface hair the go-to haircut for fall. Get it with blunt bangs (or don’t, Hadid’s were faux), but the key is to nail the finish: sleek and shiny with rolled-under ends.

4 – Cara Delevingne

We love how Cara Delevingne paired long, side-swept fringe (in her case, faux) with a shaggy pixie cut. This cut straddles the line between masculine and feminine in the best possible way.

5 – Dakota Johnson

Yes, you should get bangs. Especially if you’ve been rocking longish hair for months (or years) and are itching for a cut. Dakota Johnson’s eye-grazing wispy fringe will add a cool, ’70s vibe to your overall look.

6 – Emma Stone

Side-swept bangs are the easiest way to upgrade a wavy lob. Bonus: they look super-cute tucked under fall and winter hats.

7 – Zendaya

Bangs and curls are totally possible – as evidence by Zendaya. We love how this layered cut embraces thick, fuzzy curls to the fullest.

8 – Taraji P. Henson

This chin-length blonde is all about the sharper-than-sharp edges and side-part.

9 – Selena Gomez

If you’re in the mood for a bob, make it a blunt angular one, like Selena Gomez’s at the 2017 Met Gala.

10 – Emily Ratajkowski

Defined yet wispy layers give Emily Ratajkowski’s hair a perfectly tousled look with minimal effort required.
